Trekking Ojo de Albino - Summer
About
The Glaciar Ojo Del Albino trail offers a unique mountaineering experience in the Andes, starting with the hike to Laguna Esmeralda and continuing through challenging terrains, such as lagoon shores and steep slopes. During the 650-meter ascent, we encounter natural obstacles like fallen trees and beaver dams, while admiring spectacular views of Mount Olivia, the Sorondo mountain range, and Laguna Esmeralda.
At the summit, the adventure is crowned by the breathtaking sight of the Ojo Del Albino glacier, with the Rhino Towers in the background. After a hot lunch to regain energy, we begin the descent safely, guided by proper equipment and once again appreciating the incredible landscapes that make this journey unforgettable.
